One of the very brilliant scarlet/red dwarf palmatums. Fire red in spring, truning greenish red in summer

 

This is a most beautiful small shrub, which I succeeded in killing after its first year, due to an over wet soil

REMEMBER that all Japanese Maples prefer a slightly acid well drained soil with a constant moisture content.
