The yellow leafed form of the species. Spring foliage is a pale yellow-green, gradually becoming darker as the season progresses

 

Autumn colouration is an orange through red sometimes tinged with purple

 

This maple is particularly striking in early spring when the foliage practically 'glows'

REMEMBER that all Japanese Maples prefer a slightly acid well drained soil with a constant moisture content.
