THE LOG BRIDGE

 

Bridges are almost an essential part of any Japanese garden

 

The log bridge here leads onto the island, from where the waterfall can be appreciated at its best

 

This bridge has now been changed to a Japanese Turf Bridge

as can be seen in the second picture
