THE WATER CARRIER

 

This is simply a 'western' addition to the Japanese Garden

 

I doubt very much if many ornaments such as this would be found in a true 'Japanese Garden'

 

Nevertheless it was bought to me by my wife as a Christmas present and therefore deserves 'pride of place' beside the Teamaster's Well
