Buddahs were originally found in gardens associated with Japanese Temples

 

Nowadays they are to be found more and more in private gardens, where they add a touch of reverence to the area

 

Best placed where they are unobtrusive and un-highlighted

 

Here the Buddah is placed on a block of solid granite
