9 MOUNT FUJI and BUDDAH Mount Fujiyama from which the garden takes its name, is sacred in Japanese mythology. The Buddah needs no further explanation. This area symbolises all that is pure and revered in the Japanese Garden. The area is planted up as a fernery, with the bamboo 'Aurea' framing the Buddah on a stone of granite. |
